Especially during the pandemic, we need to reach out even more and help as many folks as we can.
Brice Eldridge and his wife Mimi started attending St Francis Episcopal Church in 1981 when the services were held in Harris Hall. Brice was received into the Episcopal Church in 1985. He is a current St Francis Vestry member serving out a 1 year term and is Vestry liaison for Parish Operations and our Creche Preschool. He served as an usher for many years and has been on many committees including the 2020 Gala Committee and the Search Committee that brought Rev. Penny Bridges to St Francis. He is currently a member of the Financial Committee and the Ezo Outreach Committee.
Brice attended Lutheran Sunday School and later the Dutch Reformed Church as a teenager. During college, he was an active member of the College and Career Colloquium, an interdenominational church group for young people 18 to 25 years old. Brice and Mimi were married at Old St. Andrews Episcopal Church and have two children, Brad and Kate, who attended St Francis and were acolytes, confirmed, and Brad was married at St. Francis. Brice is a semi-retired IT executive, most recently Vice President at SAIC/Leidos. He graduated from Brown University with concentrations in International Relations and Electrical Engineering. He has been a Rotarian for over 40 years and is past President of the Rotary Club of Reston.
Brice’s hopes for St Francis: “I would hope that sustained growth at St. Francis would increase our vibrant outreach to encompass both local and broad programs to help folks in need.”
