Ginger Gotliffe

Ginger has been a parishioner at St. Francis since the mid-1990s

I have attended St. Francis since the mid-1990s when I married my husband, Ed, and moved to Reston.  For many years, I have been on the Altar Guild and currently serve as the scheduler.  I am also a member of the Finance Committee.  Previously, I was on the Labyrinth Committee. I participated in the Tracey’s Tuesday night Bible Study and love attending the St. Francis Women’s Retreat at Shrine Mont in the spring and the periodic music concerts held at St. Francis.

I currently serve as 1978 Class Agent for Vanderbilt University and am a member of the Black and Gold Club for former athletes (tennis). I play in several tennis leagues in Reston.  I happily take advantage of opportunities to learn and read through OLLI at GMU and lectures through Vanderbilt and Smithsonian Associates, as well as perhaps one too many book clubs.

My hope for the future of St. Francis is to strengthen the financial picture of the church in order to guarantee and expand our wonderful fellowship, education, and outreach activities for the long-term future. I am a retired environmental engineer who worked at the Dept. of the Navy and EPA. I have one daughter, Dana, who attended St. Francis when she was a child.  During normal times, I attend the 8 o’clock service.
