Communicant of St. Francis since 2010
Our family became a member of the St. Francis Church in 2010 after serving the Holy Cross Korean Episcopal Church; ever since we moved from northern CA to Virginia in 1994.
Joshua and I built many wonderful relationships with our fellow Franciscans through the Tables for Ten and learned more about the church through Joshua serving in the Vestry for one term and me serving as a Sunday School teacher for 10 years. I recently joined the Altar Guild and Joshua is now in the choir.
I am an IT Project Manager by profession, but my heart is in the social service area. I’ve been serving as a member of Committee on Congregational Mission at the Diocese of Virginia for the past 16 years, which opened my eyes on the needs of the small churches and how the greater community can help. I also actively volunteer for several non-profit organizations in the area to help the Asian immigrants in- need as well as leading an organization where it provides and manage affordable housing for seniors in need. It truly is a blessing to be able to work for a good cause.
I’m a firm believer in the fact that God’s blessings are meant to be shared and through sharing we grow wiser and closer to God. I love St. Francis’ belief of how we are here together to follow Christ and that our church is a spiritual home for worship and Christian growth. I hope to add my God given talents to the vestry to support what we are striving together.

Communicant of St. Francis since 2016
St. Francis has been an important part of my faith journey since my mother and I joined St. Francis in 2016. Under Reverend Lucey and the Vestry’s leadership, St. Francis has been a caring and supportive community, guiding me and strengthening my faith. I have enjoyed being a part of the St. Francis community at the Bible Studies, Galas, Fall Fests, Women’s retreats, and Chili Cook-offs to name just a few of the wonderful events and activities St. Francis hosts. If elected to the St. Francis Vestry, I hope to build on St. Francis’ strong past to ensure that St. Francis remains a welcoming, engaging, vibrant and thriving faith-based community in the future.
At St Francis, I have served as a member of the Stewardship Committee for the past three years. I have been a member of the Altar Guild for over four years, and I am a greeter on Sunday mornings. Prior to joining St. Francis, I served as a member of Vestry to my college Episcopal Church student group and as an Acolyte leader in high school.
Professionally, I am a corporate and tax associate at Odin, Feldman & Pittleman, P.C. in Reston, Virginia. Prior to joining my law firm, I earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (“Tax LLM”) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2021. I graduated from Tulane University Law School in 2014 and worked on tax policy and other policy issues prior to my Tax LLM. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Rice University in 2011. I am a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars.
It would be an honor to serve as a member of the St. Francis Vestry.
