On November 20, the Faizy family visited St. Francis and shared with us their stories of coming to America and their appreciation for the love and support shown by our parish in helping to resettle them in Northern Virginia. The occasion was the Thanksgiving Potluck lunch following our Sunday service. The Faizys shared a typical Thanksgiving meal with the parishioners in attendance. The Faizys are a wonderful family and very appreciative for Franciscan’s generosity and for the grace of God which brought us together and made it possible for us to help them. All agreed that the food and the company made a wonderful combination.
